Bulletin designed by Carrie Shrepfer, in-house graphic designer of New Hope Community Church. Carrie says: “We’re going to be printing on the Kraft Royal Fiber 70lb text paper from WausauPaper (via Spicers in Portland).”

“This bulletin will be handed out on Sunday to the congregation as they file into the main sanctuary. The hope is that the look/feel evoked via this piece will match the look/feel during the service (both on stage as well as in the pew). The hope is to create a warm, inviting environment reminiscent of something slightly medieval and traditional, while challenging today’s misconceptions about what Worship truly is. This is a work in progress!”

Designed by: Ryan Imel, Aspiring Indie

This is the bulletin design for our new “The Way of Worship” message series. This bulletin was designed in conjunction with an earlier invitation card.

In short the idea behind this theme is to present a different side of worship than is often seen; that is, the one that isn’t standing up high and waving your hands for all to see. I chose a darker, grittier floral black and white print because (1) I thought it would look cool and (2) I thought it would contribute to the organic nature of the message series: worship is your life.
